Joyce Marotto

Since my childhood, Bob and Joyce had been longtime neighbors and friends of ours - as well as fellow members. We lost them in 2020 and 2021 respectively and we share their family’s heartbreak. Bob devoted his time as a trustee and on the investment committee. And he could often be heard sharing his dry sense of humor and innovative ideas. Joyce spent many years as corresponding secretary and chaired the Children’s Christmas party. She always loved having children around and as an educator, enjoyed projects with the kids (just ask her beloved grandsons). So of course she would arrange for a fun event for the kids with lots of activities to keep them engaged. It wasn’t always easy, but she persisted year after year and the kids and their families always had a fun time. I cannot believe they are both gone. I will always be grateful for their dedication and their kindness and friendship to my family through the many years.

To the family and friends of the Morrotto family it is such sad news to learn of Joyce's passing. She always had a smile and kind word for everyone. She was very active in Mt Carmel-St Cristina Society where we first met. To know Joyce was to love her. Joyce and her late husband Bob were such loving people and Joyce is now with her beloved Bob and may they rest in peace. My deepest heartfelt condolences to all of you. ???
